My name is Annie Cholin. I was born and raised in Bonnyville, AB on a horse farm. I moved to Kerrobert in 2007 with my husband and our 3 kids. My husband is originally from Kerrobert. I went to school for Herd Health Technology but it wasn't meant to be for me as a career.
I now own my own business in Kerrobert offering both a store front Prairie Sky Treasures and a small studio for Passport/Pal photos and Student portraits. I absolutely adore animals. I have 3 horses that stay at my parents farm in Alberta, 2 dogs and 1 cat. You can usually find me at my shop in town, at a rodeo arena with my 17 year old who rides Saddle Broncs or in the winter at the hockey rink. This is furthering my love of rodeo and hockey photography.
I am a mom to 3 young men. . 2 have moved away to pursue their own careers/studies and I have one left at home who will graduate in June 2025. Photography has been a passion of mine for years. I am self taught and like to learn new tricks and techniques and am currently working with a mentor to help expand my knowledge. I am also a member of the Professional Photographers of Canada and will be working towards becoming an accredited photographer. I enjoy landscape photography which I use as a get away and go back to nature. Sports, grad and team photography are my specialties. I would like to expand into pet photography soon. Feel free to contact me to book a session or to just reach out with questions.
I am a full service studio. This means I provide prints, custom cards, wall art, magnets and more that can be purchased through my shop as well as the digital files you receive with your packages.
